At Oakland Academy we strive to provide an educational environment that is deeply rooted in the fruit of love. With a mission to provide quality education, whilst considering the holistic development of our learners, we provide smaller classrooms and a hands-on educational approach.

Being an Independent Christian school in the heart of Monte Vista, we can provide our learners with a warm and rewarding approach to teaching and learning. Instilling traditional values and encouraging learners to be the best versions of themselves is our prime goal.

Our well-taught CAPS curriculum is specifically tailored to meet the individual learning requirements and encourage learners to develop their academics curiosity. We also offer weekly intervention classes to build onto foundations and revise challenging topics. Like the Oak tree, that we proudly wear, we are strong, powerful, able to endure and promote honesty amongst our learners and community.

We believe in the teachings of 1 Timothy 6v18 where we encourage to do good, be rich in good works, be generous and ready to share. At Oakland Academy we put this to practice by enriching the lives of many through our numerous outreach / charity initiatives.

We listen, we care and most importantly we work together to create a happy learning community. We strive to develop resilient and confident world leaders and shakers who relish in the opportunities and challenges that come their way.
